Following on to the huge success of The Bridal Show in November 2009 at Walkers Stadium, The Bridal Show brings East Midlands Biggest Wedding Show to the Walkers Stadium once again on Sunday, 14 November 2010.

The exhibition will show-case some of the best wedding suppliers from across the UK. With 110 stands to include Venues, Caterers, Decorations, Fashion Jewellery, Wedding Planners, DJ's, Wedding Cakes, Limo Hire and much more. You are assured to get plenty of ideas and inspirations, especially if you are planning 'a themed wedding'.

If you have not booked the venue for your wedding yet, come and meet the Events Management Team of Leicester City Football Club who will be delighted to meet you and discuss your requirements for a perfect wedding.

The ENTRANCE to the show is FREE.

A Glamorous Fashion Show will also take place in the Banks' Lounge (3rd Floor) during the day.

Confex Success
for Leicester City Football Club

Leicester City Football Club joined over 35 football clubs and football stadia to promote the non- matchday conference and event facilities at their venues across the UK and Ireland, Stadium Experience had an exciting presence at this year’s Confex.

Confex is the UK’s leading exhibition showcasing the Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Events industry for exhibitors and visitors from all over the world, held at Earls Court from 23-25 February 2010.

Representatives from Leicester City, Ipswich Town, Aston Villa, Reading, West Ham United, Norwich City and Everton Football Clubs were on hand throughout the three- day show to meet with conference and event buyers from all over the world. Visitors to the stand were also greeted by Bella the Aston Villa Mascot, Bluey the mascot from Ipswich Town and Filbert the Fox from Leicester City.

“A great effort has been made by the Stadium Experience marketing team to ensure lots of activities took place on the stand to create a buzz for business. The visitor numbers to our stand at Confex have increased year on year. ” Commented Chairman Tony Watson.

All visitors to the Stadium Experience stand were also encouraged to take away a souvenir photo of them holding the replica World Cup. “This was a great initiative to encourage an audience on the stand with a Sven Goran Eriksson look-a-like around for some of the photos!” continued Tony Watson.

Industry judges representing show organisers UBM nominated the Stadium Experience stand for the prize “Best Shell Scheme” for which it finished as runner up.

For the Stadium Experience members the hard work begins now in converting the enquiries received at Confex. Early indications are that one of the football clubs has already received some confirmed business and with this in mind Stadium Experience are confirming their attendance at Confex 2011.

Leicester City Football Club has been recognised as the best in the Championship at the Official Football Hospitality Awards 2010, staged at Wigan Athletics' DW Stadium last Thursday evening.

The event, attended by representatives of football clubs from the Premier League through to League 2, acknowledged the best of football hospitality nationwide, with the Foxes leading the way by bagging commendations in a hat-trick of categories on the night.

Leicester City's status as having what is widely regarded as some of the best matchday hospitality in the country was confirmed when the club received the Gold award for Matchday Hospitality Experience within the Championship. The award was based on continued excellence in the field of matchday hospitality and was voted for by an independent judging panel made up of professional chefs using a strict points scoring criteria.

The accolades did not end there with a further two awards coming in the shape of the bronze award in the Media Choice category, narrowly missing out to Premier League Manchester City (Winner) and Aston Villa (Silver), and the prestigious Chairman's Award for Innovation awarded to the club.

Leicester City Chief Executive, Lee Hoos, expressed his delight at winning the awards: "To be recognised ahead of some great clubs really shows the level of effort that is put in behind the scenes to ensure that our matchdays are among the best in the country."

"These awards are a credit to those who are part of our team here at the Walkers Stadium, but it is also a great testament to our hospitality customers, whose demands we strive to meet in search of the excellence that has been generously rewarded."
